The final chapter of the story. This PS3 Controller is where Desmond Miles, Altair, Ezio and now the Native video game American Connor. What was the appeal of the Assassin’s Creed story? It is segments of history, romanticized and retold as a subtext to a modern plot of global takeover. The Knights Templar, now running a fictional R&D company named Abstergo are seeking powerful ancient artifacts that asserted almost-automatic dominance over everyone. Abstergo has the technology to make these effects go global. Who is stopping them? An PS3 accessories ancient group of Assassins that have kept their group around since before recorded time. All of this leads to a 2012 apocalypse that Desmond has to stop. Learn more after the jump…The third Assassin’s Creed title excited everyone for many reasons, but I believe the top reason was the time period they chose. When Ubisoft announced that the historical setting was the American Revolution, there was almost-unanimous consensus that PS3 repair it fit. There are a myriad of locations (Boston, New York, Concord, Lexington, etc) each with unique pre-United States atmospheres. This game had one additional reason for excitement: a new gaming engine. This engine was built from the ground-up. It permits the use of 2000 character-crowds while in the midst of a scene. While that does not sound like much, gaming is somewhat limited by the amounts of people they can place into a scene. 2000 may or may not sound like much, but it is a giant leap forward. I think this is especially important for this title. An Assassin’s Creed title will have hand-to-hand combat, but it in this setting, there is a full-blown WAR going on. Being able to shove 2000 on the screen at once allows for fights to occur in the background instead of having people simply run away like in prior games.Given the proximity of this review with the release, I am refraining from spoilers, but I will go into the perception I had going into this. I expected pro-U.S. jingoism. I will confess that there is a lot of that perception in ads, but the game has plenty of Patriot-killing. 745TDBanty 130131

Epic Games and People Can Fly officially unveiled Gears of War: Judgment
during E3 2012, and with the announcement came the first opportunity to
not only see the game in action but also take the game’s 5-on-5
competitive multiplayer mode Overrun for a hands-on test drive.
Overrun is essentially Gears of War 3’s
Beast Mode and horde mode smashed together with a sprinkling of
class-based characters. For one round, we played as humans defending a
power generator, and for the second, we played as various Locust
variants trying to destroy the generator. Pretty straightforward stuff.
The
classes add a nice strategic touch to the frenetic and oft gruesome
gameplay, especially with the addition of class-specific secondary
abilities. For instance, Baird is an engineer capable of dropping sentry
turrets (pro tip: if you enter cover and then drop the turret, you can
actually put it on top of whatever piece of cover you’re pinned to,
giving the turret some added height and widening its viewing angle) and
repairing damaged fortifications like barbwire fences. Cole is a
soldier, and can drop ammo boxes. Sofia is the medic who drops a
health-dealing gas cloud. Paduk, the scout, drops a beacon that reveals
enemy positions on the map.
On
the Locust side, you have a variety of gnarly beasts at your disposal,
assuming you have earned enough cash to unlock them throughout the match
that is. A lot of the characters appeared in GOW3, like the
wretch, ticker, and kantus (no berserker though), and each one offers an
entirely unique play style and ability. Seeing the chaos that ensues
when the two teams collide is just ridiculous, especially when the
fortifications fall and everyone just swarms into the central battle
zone. Pure, bloody madness.
The gameplay is classic Gears, and the texture and sound work are about as pleasing as you could hope.

It’s THE genuine thrilling and memorable PS3 Controller section of the entire game. Unfortunately, it occurs so late that many players may no longer even care. Imagine if this was the first mission instead? There Game Accessories might have had a completely different experience with the overall game. Not being one for multi-player, I still gave this a go. There appears to be a good variety in class of soldiers, weaponry and scenarios in fair balanced play. The ability to represent your nation in a online community would be incentive for many to persevere on for many hours here, too.I’ve been a long-time supporter of this franchise, but I feel it no longer has anything worthwhile to say. MOH:Warfighter is technically a good, polished game, but it lacks genuine heart. It becomes increasingly difficult to care about a game that clearly no longer respects itself. Nonetheless, still PS3 repair worth getting when discounted in price six months after release. Yet by then, I fear, a new generation of better first-person shooters and other great games will have clearly passed this by. I’ve been tracking True Crime: Hong Kong from its earliest days of development and was truly saddened that Activision dropped the title in early 2011 when they PS3 cases could no longer forsee a significant profit from their investment. Even though the game was reportedly 90% complete, looking great in preview videos and only months from release.Thankfully publisher Square-Enix was prepared to take on the project, perhaps encouraged by the success of Just Cause 2 in 2010, and after a further year of tweaking and refining, we finally have the game now known as Sleeping Dogs.Open-world third-person is my favourite gaming genre, as I have spent countless hours experiencing everything on offer in PS3 controller protectors games of the Grand Theft Auto and Saints Row franchises. However, my experience of True Crime:LA back on the PS2 was somewhat average, as it failed to compare to what GTA3, Vice City and San Andreas was doing on that console at that time.Wei Shun is an undercover cop returning from the USA to his native land of Hong Kong. Attempting to infiltrate the Triad organisation, Wei is soon juggling his duties as an officer of the law and that of his emerging career in organised crime.
Highly anticipated and much hyped, Deux Ex: Human Revolution finally gains release, promising innovation and a gaming experience unlike any other. For the most part, they deliver on these expectations.
I had previously played the original Deus Ex (both the excellent PC version and the crappy PS2 port), though never quite finished it. That game was innovative and brought ideas to gaming never before seen, and is regarded by some as one of the greatest video games of all time!
Human Revolution makes full use of this generation’s gaming tech to produce a highly visual and true depth of gameplay.
You play as Adam Jensen, a cop who after receiving severe injuries due a terrorist attack, becomes a cybernetic augmentative super private investigator with many means and motives to seek out justice and the truth. Travelling through gritty future war-weary locations such as Detroit, Heng Sha and Singapore, Jensen follows up on several different leads and tasks to progress the story.
Full marks to Eidos Montreal for developing a rich, atmospheric game. The influence of things like the film Blade Runner and various cyberpunk makes for an enjoyable world to play in.
IF I had a criticism, it would be that the gameplay is quite repetitive. Despite the different locations and settings, you were mostly set the task of doing the same kind of thing, over and over again.
I must make mention of the packaging of the “Augmented Edition” (UK version) I purchased. This is definitely the best presentation of a special edition I have experienced in video games, of recent years. I real sturdy square flip-open box with the contents beautifully layered inside. I wish more video games were packaged in such a sublime and smooth fashion.
Overall, Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a wonderful experience, offering gameplay that is unique and stands alone from an industry that seems lately more focused on unwilling to challenge the gamer.

“Me love you long time” the SoulCalibur game series, from it’s early Soul Blade days on the PS1, through its superb PS2 incarnations, and the reasonably good “IV” game of the series, released back in 2008 on PS3.
I admit that 2D (or 3D) fighting games are NOT my usual gaming preference, yet I’ve always given the likes of Street Fighter, Tekken and Mortal Kombat a go at liking them. However, the weapon-emphasise and stylish moves of SoulCalibur has always greatly appealed to me, more.
SoulCalibur V is a game easy to play and doesn’t take too long towards soon mastering. A large roster of characters to choose, with the customization of clothing, accessories and weapons that we’ve come to expect from the franchise.
PS3 accessories Sadly, the single-player story mode is limited, disappointing and junk. It’s primary purpose might be craft some combat skill moves or unlock some of the customization items for your characters.
The game truly comes alive in online mode, where you execute your fine-tuned character-specific skills against REAL people. This aspect is where the game has a great chance for much re-playability and long-term use.
I really like the game, and PS3 Controller it will be my “go to” game for online player vs player fighting. However, I just wish the off-line component was developed and executed a bit better. 745TDBanty 130129

Rage is a premier game currently in development at id Software. Rage uses a new custom graphics engine known as the Tech 5, and is said to push consoles to their absolute limits. In fact, Rage is based on next-generation programming technology which will be used in the next generation of consoles. As time has passed, Rage has continued to gain a larger following due to its amazing graphics and game play.
Legendary game developer, John Carmack, has made it clear the Xbox 360 version of Rage will be the best-looking console version of the game – approaching the high-end PC in graphics quality. Unfortunately for PS3 owners, even the developers at id Software have admitted the PS3 version of Rage will not offer the level of graphic quality seen in the PC and Xbox 360 versions. In an interview with Edge magazine, John Carmack specifically said the Xbox 360 version of Rage will match the PC versions frame rate of 60 frames per second, while the PS3 version will run at “Just 20 – 30 frames per second.”
This is ironic, because people originally thought the PS3 version may have an advantage due to the fact that John Carmack had talked about how texture compression might have an impact on graphics. Consequently, people thought the extra space of a blu-ray disc may pay off in Rage. But, less than 1% of games see any form of advantage because of extra space on a blu-ray. Now that Rage is nearly complete, we clearly see texture compression will not be a problem since Microsoft has given approval for the huge Rage game to be released on four DVD discs. If disc swapping is an issue, simply install the game onto your hard drive.
During a recent interview, John Carmack compared the Xbox 360 to the PS3 hardware by telling us “The PS3 lags a little bit behind in terms of getting the performance out of it. The rasteriser is just a little bit slower - no two ways about that.”
John Carmack went on to tell us, "The RSX is slower than what we have in the 360. The CPU is about the same, but the 360 makes it easier to split things off, and that's what a lot of the work has been, splitting it all into jobs on the PS3.”
Rage is not the first game to have significantly better graphics and/or resolution on the Xbox 360. For example, the Xbox 360 version of Soul Calibur 4 runs at a 40% higher resolution in the Xbox 360 version. The PS3 version runs at the standard resolution of 1280x720p, while the Xbox 360 version runs at a resolution of 1365x960p.
Another example is All-Pro Football. One review of this game said, “The Xbox 360 version runs smoothly at 60 frames per second, while the PS3 version struggles to run at 30 frames per second.” This is no surprise considering the Xbox 360 can display nearly twice as many polygons as the PS3.
In technical terms, it all comes down to the specifications of the hardware. The GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) of the Xbox 360 has the ability to display up to 500,000,000 polygons per second. The PS3 GPU has the ability to display up to 275,000,000 polygons per second. This is the reason why Xbox 360 versions of games have smoother frame rates and higher resolution.
After this controversial interview with John Carmack, id Software was flooded with a lot of messages. Most of these messages were from disappointed PS3 owners. These PS3 owners claimed id Software lacked the development talent needed to make the PS3 version as good as the Xbox 360 version. Although the developers at id Software knew this was not true, they still didn’t like the idea of possibly losing sales.
The following statement was issued on Twitter: “The article has caused quite a ruckus. We are committed to ensuring that gamers on all platforms have a great RAGE experience.”
But this apparently didn’t keep the knowledgeable PS3 fans happy. These fans knew 60 frames per second looks much smoother than 30 frames per second. And a frame rate as low as 20 frames per second can look bad at times.
Consequently, id Software released another update saying: “Everything is designed as a 60 hertz game. We expect this to be 60 hertz on every supported platform.” The developers at id Software go on to say “The work remaining is getting it locked so there's never a dropped frame or a tear, but we're confident that we're going to get that.”
For those of you who don’t know, your TV set runs at either 60hz or a multiple of 60hz. This is referred to as the “refresh rate,” because it represents how many times your TV screen is updated each second. For example, most LCD HDTV sets on the market nowadays run at either 60hz, 120hz, or 240hz. Most Plasma HDTV sets are very smooth and run at 600hz.
Each of the native 60hz in the game are handled by the videogame hardware, while multiples of 60 are handled by separate video processors found in HDTV sets in order to add smoothness. The reason why 60hz is so important is because 30 progressive frames per second represents 60 interlaced fields per second. A field is a half-frame. If the PS3 version could reach 30 frames per second (rather than 20 frames per second), it would represent a large step in quality. 60 is only one multiple from 30 – every field could be transformed into a frame relatively easily in a way that is optimized for performance at 60hz.
The Xbox 360 and PC versions will run at an incredibly smooth 60 frames per second. This means each of the 60 hertz (screen updates) will be completely filled with data. You will be looking at progressive frames rather than interlaced fields. So there is no doubt the Xbox 360 and PC versions will in fact be noticeably smoother, even if the PS3 version reaches 30 frames (60 interlaced fields) per second.
Currently the graphics champion on any console is the Xbox 360 version of Crysis 2. The candidates for King of Graphics all use next-generation technology and will be released within the next year. From what I’ve seen, Gears of War 3, Rage, and Forza Motorsport 4 really are the leaders of the pack. Games like Mass Effect 3 and Uncharted 3 are definitely impressive, but they are based on previous graphics engines and do not represent next-generation technology. It will be interesting to see what happens at E3!

My new phone charges via USB 7 inch android tablet so I gained a generic wall plug charger that accepts a standard A-type USB plug. Huzzah not only can I charge my phone, but also my wireless controller accessories headset and my PS3 controller without having to leave the PS3 Controller on.It charges the phone of course, and PS3 repair my Sony PS3 wireless headset; what it won't charge is the controller. Nothing wrong with the cable, nothing wrong with the controller.

While the main character in the new action title Warp from Trapdoor may look cute and cuddly, don?t be fooled. The alien known simply as Zero is a deadly being that has the ability to warp through walls and into objects? including his human captors. Kidnapped in the name of science, Zero is trapped in an underwater laboratory and seeks to escape and return home.
Take a look at some of the gameplay in the official trailer above then keep reading for Geek.com?s mini-review.
Having logged a few hours playing Warp, I can say that it certainly is a fun title. The game reminds me of a mash-up between classic Splinter Cell and any of the third person Super Mario games that have been released over the years. With Zero?s warping ability, you can choose whether you want to stealth your way to the finish of each level, or you can take the ?kill ?em all? approach, which is equally as challenging. Add in the fact that the title is a platformer that contains obstacles that rely heavily on button timing to clear, and you have a game that is both challenging and entertaining.
Along with the main storyline, there are challenges that are peppered throughout the laboratory to add an additional layer of gameplay. Much like the Comet Challenges you find in Super Mario Galaxy 2, these levels are tougher to master and will entertainingly frustrate completionist gamers ?who have the need to finish everything in the game.
While the graphics and the NPC actions aren?t mind-blowing, they really just window dressing for the obstacles you must navigate to win. Non-threats to your characterm like the lab?s scientists, will simply cower in a corner and act scared, which gets fairly?repetitive. Far more challenging and entertaining are the soldiers that will try to shoot and kill you on sight (which they are quite good at) and the level bosses that use a variety of methods to wipe you out of?existence.
When it comes to upgrading Zero?s powers and abilities, Warp employs a store mechanic to balance the game experience. Scattered throughout the game are ?grubs,? little formations of protoplasm-looking items that you need to collect as you go. Stationed along your path in the game are various computer terminals in which you can buy upgrades and powerups using the collected grubs like currency. Of course, gathering every single grub in the game is difficult, as some require some inventive maneuvering.
Of the two methods of game strategy that can be used, I found a mix between a full frontal assault and stealth to work best for my style of play. Killing humans in the game consists of warping Zero into their bodies, then moving the analog stick (I use a 360 controller connected to my PC) rapidly to cause my target to explode. It?s pretty satisfying to witness, especially if you have been trying to stealth your way through an area only to be blown away over and over again.
At $9.99 you really can?t go wrong with buying this title. It is an entertaining game, and if you enjoy overcoming challenging obstacles then you certainly won?t be sorry laying down the coin to get it.
Warp is available on Origin as well as Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network.

It's hard to get good at a video game. It can require a ton of practice and effort. You'll have to hone your skills over time, training your eyes and fingers to react with split-second precision and speed. Or you could just use your credit card. Dead Space 3, an upcoming sci-fi horror game from Electronic Arts that will be out for 360 and PS3 controller on February 5, will allow you to pay money for weapons, according to a new Eurogamer report. Real money for fake weapons. "You can buy resources with real money, but scavenger bots can also give you the currency that you can use on the marketplace," associate producer Yara Khoury told Eurogamer. "So you don't have to spend [real world] dollars." So, yes. It's hard to get too mad at the idea of optional micro-transactions—in many ways this is just like the cheat-enabling Game Genie that you could buy for many Nintendo systems back in the day—but it's also hard not to envision a future where some unscrupulous publishers force their developers to make unbalanced games in which you pretty much have to buy optional weapons to proceed. And you thought Dead Space 3 wouldn't be scary. 745TDBanty 130123
