Much else beyond that is a mystery. Nintendo, however, has plenty of reason to worry. Since Microsoft(MSFT) released the slimmer, more stable version of its Xbox 360 in 2010 and Microsoft and PlayStation maker Sony(SNE) introduced motion control devices that same year, Wii sales have been on the downswing. Worldwide Wii sales for the half-year ending in September were down from 4.97 million units in 2010 to 3.35 million last year. Wii game sales, meanwhile, dropped from 65.2 million units to 36.5 million during the first half, though the end-of-year number may be bolstered a bit by the more than 1 million copies of Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword that Nintendo sold during the holiday season.
That sales drop is just one nasty blemish on Nintendo's far uglier big picture for 2011. Overall sales were down 41% as Nintendo's net loss grew to $925 million. That forced the Nintendo to seriously reconsider its July forecast of a $263 million net profit for the fiscal year ending in March. Gameplay

BlackSite: Area 51 is a first-person shooter xbox games. The player will assume the role of Aeran Pierce who has been tasked on different things since arriving in Rachel, Nevada. There are different stages in the area, although the first stage is alien-free and the only enemies are rebels in Iraq.

One of the features of the game is squad tactics. For example, the player can order one of it's teammates to move on a location, attack a certain enemy and set charges on certain items. Throughout the course of the game, there are times when the player will ride on a vehicle controlling its gun.

Most of the vehicle scenario will pit the player on defending a location from attacks. The game will also feature a morale system for each member of Aeran's team. For example, if the squad is not performing well in battle and is losing or taking a lot of damage from the enemy, the player's squad will start to lose morale which will start to decrease their ability in fighting, lessening their damage and the chances they will hit a target. Also, if the squad has a very low morale, they would possibly rather run away from battle. In other words, if the squad is performing well in battle, they will gain morale increasing their fighting ability, enhancing their damage and defence. Also, the squad will be much more accurate on hitting an enemy and the chances of them on fighting enemies head on will increase.

In an unsurprising move, Microsoft announced they’re forcing Xbox 360 Controller Dashboard app developers to include Kinect support for navigation.  While Netflix, Hulu Plus, ESPN, and many other apps already used the device, it’s now mandatory.  This means heavily anticipated upcoming apps from companies like Comcast, Verizon, and UFC will allow users to navigate and watch content while using voice commands and hand gestures instead of controllers.
While app developers must let players use the device, it’s not clear how extensive the support will be.  With Microsoft working closely with developers, hopefully we get full-featured apps rather than lazy programs that do the bare minimum.  Considering the Netflix app just added features like voice search after launching with almost no useful Kinect support, it shows potential for where Microsoft’s Xbox 360 accessories going with all of this.
Unfortunately, this announcement doesn’t do a whole lot for hardcore players that bought Kinect for games, not user interfaces.  Aside from a Xbox 360 Kinect few titles like Dance Central and The Gunstringer, the device hasn’t given players great games to enjoy in the year since its launch.  It’s nice to see Microsoft XBox 360 Hard Drive doing something to keep the accessory from collecting dust but it’d be great if players could do more with it than dance, exercise, or look at menus. 8812abc09 0103
